This is LAIA Ventures' main event in the Middle East. We select startups with advanced projects in the areas of: Urban Mobility and Clean Energies, for its showcase in Masdar City Innovate and the ADSW 2022.

LML Systems
LAIA is involved in the development this global last mile logistics solution, based on an automated network of delivery and collection for personal, commercial, storage and recycling uses.

Erosion based urbanism
This is a project from LAIA Lab aligned with Kiribati Adaptation Program, a program initiated by the World Bank and funded by entities such as the Asian Development Bank, where sea walls are being proposed as the solution to stop sea-level rise effects on atolls.

Land reclamation: Mumbai
A new video produced by LAIA Lab for Landboxes, which explores the territorial expansion of Mumbai over land reclaimed from the sea, as part of the preparatory study of new urbanism.
LAIA Lab develops urban planning and research projects with a socially sensitive approach. They are located in coastal areas, where human pressure is already extremely high and will increase with the rise in world population.
